The Council on Foreign Relations, or CFR (see Historic Figures of the Freemasonry), is a group well-known to be made up of Freemasons. This group’s goal is a One World Government dictatorship. Another group, the Committee on the Constitutional System (CCS), is working on revising the Constitution.
In his 1988 book, “The Shadows of Power: The Council on Foreign Relations and the American Decline”, James Perloff quotes Senator William Jenner’s 1954 warning about those wishing to subvert the Constitution:
“We have operating within our government and political system, another body representing another form of government, a bureaucratic elite which believes our Constitution is outmoded and is sure that it is the winning side… All the strange developments in foreign policy agreements may be traced to this group who are going to make us over to suit their pleasure.”

In “New World Order: The Ancient Plan of Secret Societies”, William T. Still recounts a Norman Dodd 1977 radio interview. Dodd was the Congressional Committee Research Director in 1954 and investigated tax-exempt foundations. In the Carnegie Endowment for International Peace, he found an amazing statement of purpose:
“The only way to maintain control of the population was to obtain control of education in the U.S. They realized this was a prodigious task so they approached the Rockefeller Foundation with the suggestion that they go in tandum and that portion of education which could be considered as domestically oriented be taken over by the Rockefeller Foundation and that portion which was oriented to International matters be taken over by the Carnegie Endowment.”
Dodd explains that the Rockefeller Foundation agreed to this and that the purpose of this, aligning itself with the secret life of the Freemasons, was to rewrite history:
“They decided that the success of this program lay in an alteration in the manner in which American history was to be presented. They then approached four of the then most-prominent historians – such as Mary and Charles Beard – with the suggestion that they alter the manner in which they were accustomed to presenting the subject. They (were) turned down flat, so… they decide they (had) to build a coterie of historians of their own selection.”

Consider the following from American Mercury Magazine in December 1957:

Further, U.S. Senator George W. Malone said this to Congress in 1957: “I believe that if the people of this nation fully understood what Congress has done to them over the last 49 years, they would move on Washington; they would not wait for an election....It adds up to a preconceived plan to destroy the economic and social independence of the United States!”
