Elite Bankers Have America Running Under a Democracy While the Founders Started Us as a Republic.
Why is America running under a democracy when America was formed as a Republic?

AskOxford.com defines it as, "a formal assurance that certain conditions will be fulfilled".
The fact that the United States Constitution is under attack is one reason we're running under a democracy. Our Founding Fathers specifically established a Republic, not a democracy.

WE'RE RUNNING UNDER A DEMOCRACY AND DEMOCRACIES ALWAYS FAIL!
If all people were just and fair, maybe a democracy could work. However, centuries of history have proven that cruel and dishonest people have always lived among those of us interested in a "just" world. About 200 years ago, Professor Alexander Fraser Tytler wrote of the Athenian form of democracy. Observing that it failed 2000 years ago, Tytler commented:

RUNNING UNDER A DEMOCRACY = MOBOCRACY
Running under a democracy is nothing but "mobocracy", where the majority mob rules the day. If 51% of the population believes for some reason that your constitutional rights should be abolished, then that's what can happen. A system where the mob rules never works.

The system of our original Republic is one of "checks & balances" concerning our three branches of government. The Legislative branch makes the laws, the Executive branch enforces and administers the laws, and the Judiciary branch decides on the validity of the laws. The Judiciary uses the Constitution as a basis for whether the laws are proper or not.
The system breaks down, however, when the representatives elected by the People of the Republic begin to break their oath to uphold the Constititution.
RUNNING UNDER A DEMOCRACY & MEANINGLESS VOTES
One of the great powers given to the People in the Republic was the right to vote representatives who would act as protectors of the natural rights laid out in the Bill of Rights. However, we've been pushed into running under a democracy where your vote means nothing:
