This is a complete reversal of how our currently attacked United States Constitution set us up as a country. We were originally a Republic, not a democracy. Before the Revolution, there was no government ruling the people of the Colonies (although the King was in charge). Between the signing of the Declaration of Independence in 1776 and the formation of the Constitution in 1787, the people of the United States utilized self governance through “common law”.

Declaring our independence from the King meant we all became sovereign (each person a King or Queen).

The states only existed because the people allowed them to. The people held power over the states, not the other way around. The purpose of law in democracy didn’t exist as it does today. Consider

PURPOSE OF LAW IN DEMOCRACY: CONSTITUTION PREAMBLE

    "We the People of the United States, in Order to form a more perfect Union, establish Justice, insure domestic Tranquility, provide for the common defense, promote the general Welfare, and secure the Blessings of Liberty to ourselves and our Posterity, do ordain and establish this Constitution for the United States of America."

The word “ordain” means to “declare the law”. WE THE PEOPLE declared the law and established the Constitution. However, we never declared that we were giving up any of our own power, authority, or sovereignty. We established government to protect our natural, God-given rights, not to establish sovereignty over us.

The purpose of law in democracy today over-steps its bounds. The 10th Amendment says,

    “The powers not delegated to the United States by the Constitution, nor prohibited by it to the States, are reserved to the States respectively, or to the people.”

The government can’t assume powers beyond which the Constitution allows. However, the government CAN assume power over the People as soon as the People voluntarily tell the government that they’re relinquishing their sovereignty.

And this is exactly why the purpose of law in democracy today can take away your God-given natural rights and replace them with civil rights granted by permission from your government…

PURPOSE OF LAW IN DEMOCRACY: 14TH AMENDMENT

The 14th Amendment to the Constitution established “citizens” of the United States:

    “All persons born or naturalized in the United States, and subject to the jurisdiction thereof, are citizens of the United States and of the State wherein they reside. No State shall make or enforce any law which shall abridge the privileges or immunities of citizens of the United States; nor shall any State deprive any person of life, liberty, or property, without due process of law; nor deny to any person within its jurisdiction the equal protection of the laws.”

First of all, investigation into the 14th Amendment uncovers arguments that it was never legally ratified in 1868. One thing that’s clear is that there was outright corruption happening. The Southern states after the Civil War didn’t want to ratify the Amendment. It wasn’t getting the ¾ vote it needed according to Article V of the Constitution. Republicans put the Southern states into martial law through the Reconstruction Act of 1867. The Southern states were forced to OK the 14th Amendment in order to end the military rule.

President Johnson unsuccessfully vetoed the new amendment and had this to say:

    “Have we the power to establish and carry into execution a measure like this? Certainly not, if we derive our authority from the Constitution and if we are bound by the limitations which it imposes.”

This was the beginning of the shift in the purpose of law in democracy. Our common-law Republic was being turned into a democracy of civil privileges and statutory law.

PURPOSE OF LAW IN DEMOCRACY: 14TH AMENDMENT TRUTH

The 14th Amendment sounds good until you realize the government’s viewpoint of what a “citizen” is. Its viewpoint reverses your relationship to government. When you accept citizenship to the United States, you’re relinquishing your place as a sovereign PERSON who has power over the government created to protect your natural rights.

As a CITIZEN, you’re now subservient to the government. The only rights you have now are the PRIVILEGES granted you by a higher power than you. See People's rights vs. Citizen's rights for more insight.

Knowing this, re-read the 14th Amendment. Phrases like “subject to the jurisdiction thereof”, “privileges”, and “protection of the laws” take on new meaning. What happened to your 'Natural Rights'? Protection of “which” laws: common law or statutory law?

PURPOSE OF LAW IN DEMOCRACY: CITIZEN OR SOVEREIGN?

As you ponder the purpose of law in democracy, are you a citizen of the United States or a sovereign?

As a Constitutional sovereign, you owe allegiance to NO ONE. You own the government. The government owes allegiance to you. That government has pledged to protect your natural rights through common and biblical law concepts. You are a King or Queen with all the rights of the King from which we won our independence. It’s your duty and responsibility to treat other sovereigns with respect, without bringing them any harm.

If you’ve agreed to relinquish your sovereignty by becoming a citizen of the United States, you have no rights but the PRIVILEGES the government allows you to have. The government is now sovereign and you owe allegiance to it. If you want to enjoy your privileges, you must get a license: driver’s license, gun license, fishing license, business license, building license, hunting license, and on and on and on and on.

The purpose of law in democracy today is to regulate and control each and every action of each and every citizen of the United States rogue government. This government is based on Fascism (Fascism definition) and Communism (Capitalism versus Communism). This government is not following the constitutional laws established for the original Republic.
