of our Republic is the invisible government which like a giant octopus sprawls its slimy legs over our cities, states and nation. At the head is a small group of banking houses... This little coterie...run our government for their own selfish ends. It operates under cover of a self-created screen...seizes...our executive officers...legislative bodies...schools...
courts...newspapers and every agency created for the public protection.”
N.Y. Mayor, John Hylan
In discussing how freedom of press is democracy, we must start by qualifying a couple of things.
First, America was not set up as a democracy.
It was set up as a Republic.
Therefore, the Bill of Rights, which includes the 1st Amendment Right to freedom of press was set up under the rules of a Republic.
A democracy never works. It always ends up in tyranny.
However, for the purposes of this article, we'll refer to our democracy as a good thing. Just remember that there's actually a big difference between a Republic and a democracy, which we'll cover in a future post.
As we continue with the concept that freedom of press is democracy, we'll cover the importance of this basic right, its partner, freedom of speech, as well as the state of censorship we're enduring in today's America.
There's a reason that freedom of press is protected within the very first amendment to the Constitution. The idea is that an informed public has a fighting chance against those factions who would like to possess complete power over that public.
When it's impossible to report, through the media, any injustices occurring against "We the People" by those we've allowed to be in a position of power, we are headed down the road to totalitarian rule. On the other hand, when we're allowed to see the truth, we can hold any person abusing power accountable for those actions.
If freedom of press is democracy, what can we say about our form of government when we realize that the press in today's America is biased against democracy?
Who influences what our press reports?
It's ownership, of course. Our media is owned and controlled by various banking and industrial corporations. At the very top is the Federal Reserve (what is theFederal Reserve). The Fed itself is privately owned by interests such as the Rockefellers, Rothschilds, Warburg Bank of Hamburg, Germany, and Lazard Brothers Bank of Paris. If the Fed owns our media companies, then who is making decisions as to what you see on your TV and in your local newspaper?
Foreigners are! Foreigners who have no interest whatsoever in our United States Constitution and the rights it provides us. As a matter of fact, our Constitution is very much in the way of their plans for their crazy One World Government.
Freedom of press is democracy, yet the press is owned by those who despise a democratic way of life for us "commoners": Discover how the Fed sits at the top of media outlets such as the New York Times.
So, we have a press that doesn't report the truth about the banking cabal's true aims. Also, there's an attack on your basic freedom of speech.
When we went to war against Iraq, Bush made it perfectly clear that any dissenting voice against the war was unpatriotic. Later, we find that there were no "weapons of mass destruction". The dissenters were RIGHT and yet under attack from the lying "dictator".
More recently, the Military Commissions Act of 2006 makes it clear that anyone speaking out against the government is now a terrorist and can be expected to be taken to military prison without the Writ of Habeas Corpus protecting the right to fair trial:
If freedom of press is democracy, certainly freedom of speech is also. Without these two basic rights, we're at the mercy of the push toward totalitarianism.
When we allow censorship, we've lost, pure and simple. When can't speak out against the evils of government, there's no way to enact change. This can't be allowed to happen.
Censorship is the tripwire for Revolution.
Yes, freedom of press is democracy. However, that freedom has been taken from us by a group of wealthy crooks. It's time to fight back in a very serious manner if we still value the old Republic rights of America.
You may feel powerless against all this. You understand that freedom of press is democracy and want to help keep our freedoms. Well, the banking cabal oligarchy needs money to enact its crazy New World Order plans.
We've decided to help keep alive the idea that freedom of press is democracy by helping you eliminate your debt. This process will free you financially while reducing the amount of money available to the corrupt cabal of banksters. For every dollar of debt you legally eliminate through us, you're cutting $33 out of their pockets because of their fractional reserve banking scam.
Join us in educating others that freedom of press is democracy. Do it now before your children grow up in a slave work camp. Do it now so your children can feel pride in the fact that you were one of the first to truly understand the threat to America's freedom and stood up to do something about it.
