Why don’t we explore some of the characteristics of American democracy.
This isn’t an essay on how great America is and nonsense on how we need to bring democracy all around the world.
After reading some of the characteristics of our current government, you’ll be hard pressed to convince anyone that we should be pushing this type of thuggery on anyone else.
Understand that we’re not anti-American in any way. We love America. More specifically, we love the America that was founded in the late 18th century after the American Revolution.
The characteristics of American democracy were quite different back then. To speak correctly, these were characteristics of the American REPUBLIC.
CHARACTERISTICS OF AMERICAN DEMOCRACY VS THE REPUBLIC
America was founded as a Republic, and specifically not as a democracy. This is purely and simply a fact of our history that’s been buried from the consciousness of 21st century Americans.

CHARACTERISTICS OF AMERICAN DEMOCRACY: CITIZEN VS PERSON
One of the most significant characteristics of American democracy is how, in the 1860’s, it began to strip us of our God-given natural rights by labeling us as “citizens of the United States” rather than “people” of the Republic. This was the beginning of a major shift in the concept of leadership in democracy.

CHARACTERISTICS OF AMERICAN DEMOCRACY: FEDERAL RESERVE

Furthering the aim of stripping the characteristics of the original Republic, the Federal Reserve Act was signed in 1913 by Woodrow Wilson. This was a great fraud brought upon the American people. The Act set up a United States central bank which took the issuance of our money away from Congress. This was one of the very characteristics of American democracy that Thomas Jefferson warned us about!
With the Federal Reserve came an illegal tax scheme that has enslaved the American people ever since. Of all the characteristics of American democracy, this is the one that affects each and every American directly on a day-to-day basis. Every day, you go to work and give away your labor. That labor is then stolen by the Federal Reserve owners in their slavery for unpaid debts scheme.
CHARACTERISTICS OF AMERICAN DEMOCRACY: GRACE COMMISSION
Fast forward to January, 1984, when a little report called the "Grace Commission” came across President Ronald Reagan’s desk. It told Reagan (and now you) that two thirds of federal income taxes were lost or wasted and the remaining third went to pay the interest on the national debt.
If you’ve investigated the Federal Reserve, you know this means that all IRS taxes go to pay the private ownership of the Fed. If this isn’t one of the most absurd and fraudulent characteristics of American democracy, we don’t know what is!

CHARACTERISTICS OF AMERICAN DEMOCRACY: DE-EDUCATION
In the early 20th century, education became another part of the several characteristics of American democracy that have taken our Republic away.
This is when there was an organized effort to change America’s school system from one of “educating” to one of “training”. The goal was to turn Americans into a class of workers. The plan was to “dumb down” the people. The goal was to help Americans forget what America was founded on.

When our televisions constantly teach that democracy is great (as opposed to the Republic), the people come to believe it. It’s hard for most people to believe (especially after being taught how great the “state” is in the government school system brainwashing), but our media is “bought and paid for”. It’s not an objective look at our world. It’s propaganda, plain and simple.
